FAQ
Is my health data private and secure?

Your secrets are safe with... well, just you, actually. Your data lives only on your device, never shared with anyone. It's your business, and your business alone.

Can I export or back up my data?

Not yet! A shiny new data export feature is coming, so eventually you will be able to download your data. For now, a cautionary word of advice; clearing your browser history, cache, cookies, or site storage will send your logs to the great digital void, never to return. So maybe don't do that.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

Deleting your account wipes all your logged data from your device; for-e-ver. There's no undo button, no takesies backsies, no digital séance to summon it from the beyond.

How does the app identify patterns or triggers?

HashiTracker uses a bunch of magic (math and science) behind the scenes to play digital detective with your logged entries to see connections. Maybe your flareups have a suspicious habit of showing up after that third cup of coffee or a rough night's sleep. Case (potentially) solved!

What if I forget to log a day?

No guilt trips here! Life happens and the last thing you want is a scolding from us. Who wants to log entries while on a date with their charming, smart, funny, cool, sexy wife? Just pick back up when you can, missing a few days here and there won't break anything.

Can I edit or delete a past entry?

Not yet, but a future update will allow you to delete the evidence.

Do I have to fill out every section each day?

Nah, just enter what applies to you, whenever it applies.

What if a symptom or medication I need isn't listed?

The current list covers common symptoms and medications, but everyone's afflictions and daily concoctions are different. We're brewing up a future version, with fields for custom entry.

Can I use HashiTracker on multiple devices?

Right now your data's a homebody, so it only stays on one device. Multi-device sync is coming in a future update.

How do I reset my password if I lost my recovery key?

There's no one else who has a copy of your password; your recovery key is it. Guard it like treasure, or your account drifts off into the digital void, gone for good.

Is this a substitute for medical advice?

Nope. HashiTracker did not go to medical school. It's more like a digital notebook, so you can go to your doctor with receipts instead of vibes.
